As we have launched popups on SpringBuilder, we bet you’d like to create one for the registration process of your players. In this article, we will guide you on how to create a popup assigned to the registration process of your users.

There are two ways to achieve your goal here. You will get this view as you follow these steps:

Option 1

Let’s sum up this process in these steps:

  • Drag and drop the User Account element into the Crafting area of your webpage

  • Click on the element, choose Edit Settings > Form > Button Settings

  • Click on the gear icon of Sign Up/Sign In

  • At the bottom of the tab click on Choose Popup

  • In the opened tab hit Create Popup

  • Write down the name and the alias of the popup and hit Save

  • Click on the Open Popup icon which will lead you to the Edit mode

  • From the Left Panel drag and drop the User Account element anywhere in the popup and any other element that you want to see next to it, for example, an Image element

  • Click on the newly-added User Account element and choose Edit Settings > Form > Layout

  • Choose the On-page layout for the User Account element

  • You can make Sign In or Sign Up as the default slide, as well as turn on/off Sign-in horizontal view

  • Go on and customize the other elements that are added to the popup.

Option 2

  • Go to the Popups app from your Dashboard

  • Click on Create Popup

  • Write down the name and the alias of the popup and hit Save

  • Click on the Open Popup icon which will lead you to the Edit mode

  • From the Left Panel drag and drop the User Account element anywhere in the popup and any other element that you want to see next to it, for example, an Image element

  • Click on the newly-added User Account element and choose Edit Settings > Form > Layout

  • Choose the On-page layout for the User Account element

  • You can make Sign In or Sign Up as the default slide, as well as turn on/off Sign-in horizontal view

  • Go on and customize the other elements that are added to the popup

Now let’s assign this popup to an element. There are specific elements that work for that purpose:

  • Button

  • Image

  • Icon

  • Gallery

  • Image slider

Drag and drop any of these elements on the Crafting area of your website, click on it, choose the Edit link and go to the Popup tab. Here you can choose a popup that will be assigned to the element.

As you pick a popup, you can click on the Open Popup option and customize it the way described above.

That’s it. Was it easy for you too?
